Lucas Browning Design is a female-run boutique design studio based in Pacific Palisades. The firm is comprised of skilled designers, each passionate about designing homes that enhance daily life in meaningful and inspiring ways. Every space they touch embodies the stylish, relaxed, and distinctly Californian lifestyles lived there.

Founders Heather and Katie have been designing homes together since 2013. For them, interior design is about so much more than what meets the eye. As busy mothers, they understand that a well-designed home is equal parts style and substance. Their work is built on the belief that beautiful living begins at home—that people show up as their best selves in an environment that is visually inspiring and effortlessly livable. Each room should be a collection of elements that captures your essence and enhances every moment.
HEATHER LUCAS
PRINCIPAL + LEAD DESIGNER
A former lawyer and Pepperdine Law graduate, Heather's initial foray into design was as a hobby. Now as Co-Founder and Lead Designer at her namesake firm, she channels both her creative and operational expertise. When she isn’t working, she and her husband can be found at the beach with their two kids or out on the town, sampling one of LA’s many fabulous restaurants.
KATIE BROWNING
PRINCIPAL + LEAD DESIGNER
When Katie was a child, she had a front-row seat as her mother renovated the historic Channel Road Inn. That experience had a profound impact, inspiring her to eventually co-found her own studio. With an MBA from USC, Katie balances the practical and aesthetic in both the business and the spaces she designs. On days off, you'll find her seeking new experiences with her family—whether outdoors or in their own kitchen.
TARA DAIGLE
MARKETING DIRECTOR
Like Katie and Heather, Tara brings both a love of design and business expertise to her role. Before joining Lucas Browning Design, Tara earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from Sage College and started a specialized staffing company. When she isn’t creating beautiful and strategic content or being the life of the party, you will find her at home with her puppy, Layla.
